GVO founder and executive producer, Christine Reilly was photo lead on WWE's original content, producing and directing the most compelling creative editorial work from ideation to delivery for over a decade. Christine never watched wrestling before starting at WWE. It was an intimidating challenge, but she fully embraced the opportunity to evolve the aesthetics of the brand.

 

She started on WWE’s print magazine, collaborating with the Creative Director to revamp the publication’s visual identity, improve department workflow, launch a kids magazine and the digital edition of the monthly. She then joined the Digital Media team to lead photo aesthetics and operations across all of digital including the launch of the flagship app, a kids website and WWE Network streaming service as well as two website redesigns and social media expansion. She drove higher standards through hiring top industry creatives and streamlining production. She led the creation of award-winning work in support of initiatives, partnerships and campaigns including WWE’s first-ever Pride campaign. She managed timelines, developed briefs, hired talent, oversaw budgets, produced and directed the creative both on-set and remotely, and oversaw staff across all disciplines on each project to completion. She directed talent on-set, assigned event coverage and oversaw behind the scenes content production and direction.

Christine consulted across the WWE’s entire photo ecosystem. As a source of knowledge and experience, she was tapped to mentor staff, streamline photo production across marketing, social, product and sales, she established the e-commerce photo style guide and implemented a company-wide tech solution for fast delivery of raw assets from the studio to improve workflow and the timely execution of content. She collaborated with Creative Services, VP of Photography to institute lighting guides and standards for more consistent in-house studio work. She invested in developing the creative team's capabilities and the social media team's photography skills through 1:1 tutorials, group sessions, tech solutions and courses.
